We stopped at Progressive Grounds on our way home from school one day for a mid-afternoon snack.

It’s a cute little cafe in our neighborhood with a cosy patio out back.

We were trying to get as much outdoors and sunshine in our lives before the rain kicked in.

Moments like these warm my heart so much.

My kids. They drive me NUTS sometimes. There’s always some drama, someone pushed someone, yelled or left them behind. Something. *sigh*

Then not 5 minutes later we’re back to best friends sharing a cookie.

God I do love them to pieces!

And yay for me remembering to give up the camera (this time to Rex) so they’ll always know I was there too!

By the way, I’m making a commitment here and now to be in the shot with my kids in at least ONE  blog post every week. I need to do it. I will be happy to have these shots one day. I know.
