While my mother-in-law was here we managed a trip to the Conservatory of Flowers to see their dinosaur exhibit!

We had never been inside the conservatory before. It was quite interesting in there. I’m not much for botany and such but the dinosaur exhibit they had up was interesting. It appealed more to Rex than our young Jack-Jack. She stayed close to grandma, clung to her hand tight and never once cracked a smile.

When we ventured out of the dinosaur room she perked up and was more interested in the plant-life around us.

The plants in the conservatory were divided into the types of climates they thrived in. We had fun wandering in and out of the various temperature rooms with its drastic change in humidity.
By the way, remember I mentioned I’d been busy sewing lately? Well Jack-Jack is wearing a top I had just made. Cute yeah? I got the pattern through my friend Anna (who also made a couple of versions of this top for her little girl) from here. It’s such an adorable top and I want to try different fabric versions of it. I’m sure it would look even better if my daughter didn’t have her “These dinosaurs are going to EAT ME!!” look on her face!

Anyway it was a fun little excursion for us with grandma. We were all glad to get out of the house since Rex had been sick the first few days of her visit.

I just love these shots of my kids and their grandma. But I’m happy a kind stranger approached us and offered to take our picture so everyone will remember I was there too! ![]()
