Fringed Streamers
So, do you want to see how I made the fringed streamer backdrop for my “Food” themed shoot?
I had seen this post on the Oh Happy Day blog awhile back. So pretty yeah? I bookmarked it for future use. I finally found a reason to make them last week!
Start with some crepe paper. They’re quite inexpensive at $1.80 each.

I worked on this on a dark and rainy day so my light wasn’t the greatest. Plus my craft table was still covered with Lego Police Officers and Station!

I trimmed about 2″ pieces off for each streamer and then cut the fringe toward the center of each side. I cut too close to the center on one of the streamers and it ended up falling apart when I pulled it open, so be careful not to cut too close.

I used two shades of yellow and one orange for this backdrop.

I carefully unfolded each one and hung them from the top of the curtain.

The babe was asleep so I used her baby doll for test shots ![]()

And I managed to salvage the one streamer that fell apart by throwing the pieces on the cuties she was eating! haha!

It was like a party in my living room for about an hour! It sure brightened up our living room on that rainy day!
