Photo Session At Baker Beach

So I’ve been distracted lately. My SF Giants have taken us deep into October baseball and I couldn’t be more ecstatic. But it also means most of my life takes a back seat for a while. Including my blog :(

But I did get a chance to photograph a lovely family at Baker Beach amidst all the playoff craziness.
I’ve posted more shots from that session over at my portfolio site here:)

I’ll try and keep up here, but posts may be few and far between for awhile since the San Francisco Giants have made it to the 2012 WORLD SERIES!!!! :D

Photo Session – S. Family

Remember how I said I got to photograph TWO families over the weekend? Well I’ve finally finished working on the photos from this adorable little girl’s family!

This kid has some serious cuteness on going I tell ya.

She and her little brother were incredibly easy-going and fun to work with. I’ve never met any two kids that looked, smiled and performed on cue for the camera like these two!

Their parents were just as comfortable in front of the camera as they were.

The weather had cooled down quite a bit from the previously hot day we’d just had. But they didn’t seem to notice one bit.

I’ve actually known S & P since before they even had kids. It’s been awhile since I’d seen them. It sure was nice to finally meet their beautiful children!

Yep I really need to get some pointers from mom on she gets her kids to embrace the camera like this one does. <3

Thanks S & P for a really fun session on a less than warm evening. It was was so great to catch up and do this!

Presidio Photo Session

Just before our latest rain fell (literally minutes) I got the chance to photograph this sweet baby girl and her cool parents at The Presidio.

Her fascination with Elmo rivaled Jack-Jack’s! What is it with that big red hairy guy and kids? I can always count on him to squeak out a smile from even the tiredest of toddlers!

The weather conditions were less than desirable given the rain blowing in. Plus Ms Z had skipped her usual nap so we had our work cut out for us. But despite all that they were such troopers and were a pleasure to photograph!

I do hope I get another opportunity to take their pictures again soon when we have better weather and a little more sleep. I have a feeling this little sweetheart had more stories to tell me than she let on that day! ;) Thank you Allison and Dave for letting me photograph your beautiful family!

Beauty In A Cemetery

Meet my friend Leo. And his gorgeous happy family

Leo and I shoot on opposing teams in the APA pool league in San Francisco. His little mini-me is the same age as my Jack-Jack. Yes his wife and I were pregnant at the same time. So obviously we’ve become good friends. Over the weekend I got the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family. I mean, I’m talking piercing blue eyes and golden blonde curls kind of beautiful

This is only my second shoot where the subjects are not related to me. I was a little less stressed than my first time, but mostly because I know them and just adore them

I mean they’re kind of irresistable! There is so much love here, it was a joy to capture it all

They picked a quiet and (mostly) deserted cemetery by their house for the shoot.

I arrived just before the sun set along the hills and caught some beautiful light all around us.

The star of the outing of course was this little future heartbreaker

This precocious thing stole my heart the moment I pulled up in front of their house. Oh I have I got a little firecracker of a daughter for you young man! ;)

The session lasted a little over an hour that just flew by too quickly. We took a leisurely stroll back toward our car as our light slowly faded. Mini-Leo was happy and chatty all the way.

Thank you again for letting me photograph your beautiful family Leo and Ali! I had a blast!
